Founded in 1961, BabyBjörn is a Swedish, family-owned brand, that develops, markets, and distributes an extensive range of premium baby products, including world-renown baby carriers, bouncers, and travel cots. BabyBjörn strives to make everyday life easier and more fun for families with young children by developing innovative, safe, long-lasting, and beautifully designed products.
This position is an essential part of the BabyBjörn Asia Pacific Region and will be responsible for upholding the brand image, maximizing onsite revenue by analyzing sales data, planning, and executing e-commerce plan, and working with the global ecommerce team to implement strategic and operational initiatives. The candidate must have a proven track record of successfully working as a “team player” within “diverse” environment and ability to bring departments together for a unified goal.
The position is based in BabyBjörn Seoul office, spending 50% of time for Korea’s market and 50% for SEAP’s market. Directly reporting to:
• Marketing Manager, Southeast Asia Pacific
• Marketing Manager, South Korea
o Responsible for sales target and budget management, site operation and upgrade
o Local lead for e-com related projects, such as and not limited to, back-end update, SEO, new payment solutions, etc.
o Lead strategic and operational initiatives on e-com, with daily/weekly communication with Global D2C team based in Sweden
o Ensure alignment on marketing strategic and operational initiatives the weekly/monthly communication with the country and Global Marketing team
o Lead content strategy, plan, and implementation across the site - main page, landing pages, feature pages, banners, newsletters, and etc - according to global and country’s commercial calendar
o Responsible for sales forecasts and management of KPI's
o Oversee product set up and product life cycles, in conjunction with the Countries and Global D2C team
o Ensure website is merchandised correctly with appropriate presentation of all categories and product pages
o Ensure product detail information accuracy, including copywriting, image selection, and pricing
o Update inventory of all products in e-com in conjunction with the countries’ Supply Chain team.
o Review touch points to identify opportunities for sales growth; including bestsellers, category traffic, top product views, abandonment etc.
o Provide analysis & reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly and year basis and be able to provide recommendations to improve onsite results
o Actively collaborating with the country, the region, and the Global team by sharing valuable information, best practices, and consumer insights.
Performance Marketing (Korea & SEAP)
o Develop strategy and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEM, retargeting, video, display, paid social media, and other content, to deliver commercial goals in the assigned platforms. 2023 priorities are as below, and will be updated according to the channel strategy:
o Search engine: Naver, Google
o Marketplace: Coupang, Lazada
o Social media: Instagram and Facebook
o Own campaign proposal, development, implementation with A/B testing
o Analyze and optimize campaign performance based on data-driven insights and strategy using quantitative analysis
o Ongoing reporting and analysis and derive insights from marketing and product data, and take prompt actions in optimization
o Ensure timely content editing and product submission in the different advertising campaigns in coordination with country / global marketing teams
o Regularly perform thorough keywords research
o In close collaboration with the local marketing teams, create succinct and emotional search that aligns with user targeting and contains specific targeted keywords for each market
o Manage and optimize advertising budget per market and channel
o Constant research to have a solid understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and latest
o Actively collaborating with the country, the region, and the Global team to ensure the best conversion-driven experience of both Product Pages and Advertising ads.
o Building and maintaining good relationships with publishers for affiliate marketing program while optimizing existing affiliate performance through analysis and performance identification
o 3-5 years of hands-on experience balanced with e-commerce and advertising
o High proficiency in English and almost native Korean, both written and verbal
o Excellent analytical skills and data-driven mindset with a high attention to detail
o Experience and knowledge of detailed test metrics and ROI analysis
o Strong understanding of advertising ecosystems, and experience of digital media planning
o Proficient in marketing tools, including and not limited to Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Naver Ads, Hotjar, CommerceTools & Storyblok etc.
o Ability to think creatively and outside of the box to write compelling and engaging ad copy/content
o Self-starter mentality with drive to succeed
o Proficiency in MS Office - Excel
o You will be required to travel upon business needs
