[About the team]
• The candidate will work as part of the BE team focusing on building server-side applications to support the wider AI Platform and AI Research departments.
• The Backend Engineering team is tasked with designing, developing, and upkeeping the server-side codebase for our cloud-native services, serving our researchers, software development, and product teams. We specialize in implementing the functions and server-side logic that operate in the background, making our primary focus the construction of functions/APIs utilized by front-end engineers and researchers.

• Develop, optimize, and maintain backend API services
• Deploy, configure, and integrate additional third-party backend services
• Write test code and review peers' code for quality and maintainability
• Troubleshoot production issues and take the initiative to prevent them from recurring
2.Assisting in and supporting infrastructure management of the same systems
3. Find and implement additional automation opportunities, and engineering practices to improve the speed of development/deployment and to improve application security, performance, and reliability
4. Support the TL to preach, coach, and train BE engineers with emerging backend technologies for enhancing existing services and promoting tech skills
5. Assist TL in analyzing and resolving complicated tech issues in performance, stability, security, and concurrency
[Tools Used]
• Technical tools/technologies: Python(FastAPI, Django), Postgresql, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, AWS, Azure, Argo CD, Grafana, Loki
• General: Slack, Confluence, Jira
• Proficient in English
• Proficiency in at least one server programming language
• Familiar with database systems with profound hands-on experiences in relational(SQL database) and non-relational(NoSQL) databases
• Experience with designing, building, delivering, and operating secure and high-performance API systems
• Deep understanding of web platform technology foundation knowledge(communication protocol like http/https, socket, security, etc)
• Effective communication skills: ability to convey information, thoughts, and ideas clearly and efficiently to other developers
• Strong communication skills to co-work with the PM to convey user requirements with qualified technical writing and designing documents
• Adaptability to refine technical designs or solutions to match changing stakeholder requests and business conditions
• Solid OOP and software design and system architecture knowledge
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps/DevSecOps, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience in RESTful API design
• Problem-solving: ability to work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to analyze situations from monitoring and logs to quickly identify root causes, risks, and challenges to develop an effective solution systematically
• A good coach in guiding and developing Jr. or middle backend engineers

1. Development and operation of Lunit’s machine learning annotation tool and additional AI platform tools and services software• Develop, optimize, and maintain backend API services

자격요건
• 6+ years of professional experience in BE development• Proficient in English
• Proficiency in at least one server programming language
