Rakuten Advertising is seeking a qualified candidate to join the Publishers team, as Publisher Acquisition Manager commencing on 1st January 2025.
The Publisher Acquisition Manager will be focusing on Korean regions.
The Publisher Acquisition Manager will focus on discovery, acquisition and development of new publishers in Korea regions. He/she will develop and manage a pipeline of key publisher opportunities in developing verticals (Fashion, Finance, Content, Travel, Tech, Education etc.) that is aligned with commercial needs. Publisher Acquisition Manager will also offer dedicated strategic account management to our Top-Tier publishers and manage a portfolio of Growth & Discovery of high-performance potential publisher partners, with the goal of diversifying partnership opportunities locally.

• Be responsible for identifying and listing advertising publisher opportunities that can be expanded in the Korean market, as well as recruiting and onboarding these advertising publishers
• Collaborate with Manager, internal and external stakeholders, to develop pipeline and recruitment strategies
• Work towards acquisition and revenue goals (Achieve reach, revenue and other key metric targets in line with set budgets and KPIs)
• Presents Rakuten Advertising’s value proposition and product benefits to fuel greater publisher adoption
• Support the on-boarding of publishers to achieve high engagement and activation
• Represent Rakuten Advertising at external facing events (tradeshows and events), with the goal of acquiring leads for the acquisition group
• Provide account management to strategic and high-potential new publishers to develop towards becoming a top publisher and secure new active partnerships
• Establish and maintain regular and appropriate communication with the key contact(s) through meetings, emails, calls and support tickets
• Document and efficient present newly recruited publishers to CS team to secure new partnerships
• Experience in publisher or affiliate marketing
• Solid understanding of the digital landscape in Asia-Pacific, with key markets in Korea
• Experience working in high-growth, performance-focused environments
• Self-starter and KPI/results driven
• Hands-on approach with can-do attitude; problem solving; resourceful; ensure constructive accountability for actions; decisive; adaptable
Experience in strong client relationships, reinforced by building trust, advising and upselling

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience including Sales experience• Experience in publisher or affiliate marketing
• Solid understanding of the digital landscape in Asia-Pacific, with key markets in Korea
