We’re looking for a Product Designer to help shape the future of FriendliAI. We are a Silicon Valley–based generative-AI inference acceleration platform that enables organizations to deploy, fine-tune, and serve large multimodal models at lightning speed and with industry-leading cost efficiency. It also integrates seamlessly with Hugging Face, allowing instant access to over 360,000 open-source models. While our platform delivers industry-leading generative AI inference performance to customers worldwide, we seek talent to help us become the world’s best generative and agentic AI platform.
Our mission is to help companies harness the power of generative and agentic AI. Our customers can create their own AI solutions—like chat assistants, research agents, or workflow automations—using custom knowledge and tools on our platform. To help us continue expanding our offerings, we’re searching for a product designer who can collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Own the product design process, from discovery to delivery, ensuring quality and consistency through thoughtful design reviews and polish.
• Design cohesive user flows, wireframes, and information architecture that simplify complex workflows.
• Solve complex UX problems by delivering practical, elegant design solutions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product, engineering, and leadership—to build user-centered features.
• Contribute to the overall visual identity of the product, maintaining a high bar for design quality across all touchpoints.
• Proficient in modern design and prototyping tools, such as Figma; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) is a plus.
• Experience in or strong interest in AI/ML or agentic product design, with an understanding of their unique UX challenges.
• Comfortable communicating complex technical concepts visually and interactively.
• Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, with the ability to make informed decisions quickly.
• Open to wearing multiple hats, such as conducting user feedback sessions, contributing to blog visuals, or supporting marketing assets.
