Role Overview
We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our development initiatives for the Global ENS Division. This role will oversee product development, drive engineering excellence, and manage a team of approximately 10 engineers across Japan and other global regions.
・Lead the design and development of new features and products.
・Build and maintain a robust operational structure for existing products.
■Development Efficiency & Innovation
・Identify and resolve technical debt through clear roadmaps.
・Drive adoption of AI-based development tools
・Optimize development processes to enhance delivery speed and quality.
■People Management
・Manage and mentor a team of around 10 engineers, including 1:1s, goal setting, and performance reviews.
・Recommend and implement improvements to the performance evaluation system.
・Recruit, onboard, and develop talent aligned with organizational goals.
＜Technical Environment＞
・Programming language: Python, C# (ASP.NET Core)
・Database: Microsoft SQL Server
・Machine Learning: Azure OpenAI
・5+ years of hands-on backend development experience using web application frameworks (any language).
・Business-level Japanese and English (conversation, reading, and writing).
・Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
・Business Level Japanese
・Business Level English
・Relocation to Japan required
