포지션 상세
Lunit, a portmanteau of ‘Learning unit,’ is a medical AI software company devoted to providing AI-powered total cancer care.
Our AI solutions help discover cancer and predict cancer treatment outcomes, achieving timely and individually-tailored cancer treatment.
[About the Team]
Lunit’s portfolio includes AI algorithms that analyze medical images—such as digital pathology, CT, mammography, and chest X-rays—to support cancer detection and treatment decisions. With 200+ publications and abstracts, 100+ research partnerships with leading institutions, and multiple FDA-cleared AI solutions, Lunit is at the forefront of medical AI.
Lunit is organized into two specialized groups aligned to our mission:
Cancer Screening Group: Focused on early and accurate cancer detection, primarily through radiology analysis.
Oncology Group: Focused on understanding cancer biology to optimize treatment planning, currently with an emphasis on digital pathology. As our mission evolves, we will continue expanding data modalities to further enhance cancer care.
[About the Position]
We are seeking a passionate Medical Scientist for our Oncology Group to lead the research and development of groundbreaking AI-powered oncology solutions. This role will oversee clinical research activities and work closely with AI researchers and engineers to develop state-of-the-art AI models and biomarkers that support treatment selection for cancer patients.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of clinical science, a genuine interest in medical AI, strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. If you have a passion for bringing true innovation in medicine through technology, love a competitive yet rewarding environment, and enjoy collaborating with diverse groups, this is the perfect role for you.
• Conducting internal and external collaborative research, publishing results at major conferences (ASCO, ESMO, AACR) and journals. Lead scientific communication and hypothesis generation.
• Development and improvement of AI model and derived biomarker algorithms:
• Collaborating with the AI research team to train new models and establish improvement directions for existing models.
• Establishing an overall data collection plan and performing initial data preprocessing.
• Proven track record of clinical or translational research, including experience in study design and manuscript preparation
• Experience in clinical data analysis using R, Python, or other languages
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts and clinical data to diverse audiences
• Able to communicate professionally in English and collaborate closely with international colleagues across different time zones
