Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) familiar with both Studio and Production environments. This role will serve as a key partner to the day-to-day business, partnering closely with the Director, HRBP, who oversees Global Talent for Eyeline. The position will be located in our Seoul offices, with occasional travel to our other locations.
• Partner with regional HR and GBPs to ensure a cohesive employee experience across locations
• Develop and coach leaders to build strong, high-performing teams and a healthy, scalable organization
• Design, inform, and execute key talent initiatives (e.g., compensation reviews, leadership development, org design) to support organizational change and transitions
• Take a proactive, hands-on approach with employees at all levels, building strong, trust-based relationships
• Lead employee relations matters, providing sound guidance and support to managers and employees
• Integrate inclusion and diversity into all people practices
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of org data in Workday to enable effective reporting, insights, and decision-making
• Be a key partner in onboarding and mobilizing short-term hires, ensuring a smooth, consistent employee experience
• Work independently across locations and functions, staying highly collaborative, adaptable, and effective amid change and ambiguity
• Use good judgment, a first-principles mindset, data, and strong communication skills to make informed decisions
• Strong business and HR acumen, with proven problem-solving skills, high judgment, critical thinking, and data-informed analysis
• Solid understanding of Korean labor laws and regulations, with the ability to balance compliance with Netflix's values and approach
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, highly ambiguous, and matrixed global environments
• Demonstrated ability to lead through change, working autonomously and proactively
• Proven coaching and consulting skills to support talent development, organizational growth, and integrations
• Strong project management and execution capabilities
• Excellent spoken and written Korean and English, with the ability to confidently influence stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to influence and build trust at all levels, demonstrating excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

• 8–12 years of HR experience in dynamic Korean-market environments, partnering with managers and leaders across the full employee lifecycle• Strong business and HR acumen, with proven problem-solving skills, high judgment, critical thinking, and data-informed analysis
