Gushcloud is accelerating its Korea > United States (1st) and SEA (2nd) brand export strategy, in response to increasing demand from Korean brands seeking scalable entry into the U.S. market across creator marketing, paid media, licensing, and IP-led brand building.
We are hiring a Director / Senior Director of Global Partnerships & Brand Expansion to lead this initiative end-to-end.
This role owns revenue, partnerships, project execution, and commercial P&L for Korean brands expanding internationally, managing direct relationships with Korean media buying agencies and brand principals, and leveraging Gushcloud’s global creator network, IP assets, and data platforms to deliver measurable results across the U.S. and other key markets.
[Job Summary]
This role is the full commercial owner for Korean brands expanding internationally. The Director / Senior Director is accountable for revenue generation, partnerships, project execution, and commercial P&L, acting as the primary interface with Korean media buying agencies and brand principals, and executing international growth through Gushcloud’s global creator network, IP assets, and data platforms.
The role combines sales leadership, business development, project ownership, and financial discipline, with frequent travel and direct involvement in U.S. and global market execution.
• Own and grow revenue from Korean brands expanding internationally
• Manage senior relationships with Korean media buying agencies and brand decision-makers
• Lead deal structuring, pricing, and negotiations across:
- Creator-led campaigns
- Media + creator hybrid programs
- Licensing and IP-based partnerships
• Build and maintain a qualified international pipeline with clear revenue forecasts
B. Partnerships & Market Expansion
• Position Gushcloud as the preferred international execution partner for Korean agencies and brands
• Develop long-term partnerships with key Korean buying agencies
• Identify repeatable commercial models (retainers, multi-market rollouts, licensing, hybrid deals)
• Support GCUS market expansion through strategic client and partner introductions
C. Project Execution & Delivery
• Act as end-to-end project owner from deal close through delivery and reporting
• Translate commercial agreements into:
- Clear scopes of work
- Timelines, budgets, and milestones
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (creators, ops, finance, legal, media)
• Ensure delivery is on-time, on-budget, and aligned to client KPIs
D. Commercial & P&L Ownership
• Own project-level and portfolio-level P&L
• Ensure margin discipline and cost controls across all engagements
• Partner with finance on forecasting, revenue recognition, and profitability tracking
• Continuously improve deal economics and scalability
E. Cross-Border Leadership
• Serve as the commercial bridge between Korea and U.S.
• Educate Korean partners on global creator, media, and consumer dynamics
• Travel frequently to support deal closures, key clients, and major launches
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 8–12+ years of experience in:
- Media buying / performance marketing
- Digital or integrated marketing agencies
- Brand partnerships or commercial leadership roles
• Proven experience managing agency and brand-direct relationships
• Prior ownership of revenue targets and P&L strongly preferred
B. Must-haves:
• Fluent in Korean and English
• Demonstrated ability to close and manage seven-figure annual portfolios
• Strong commercial acumen: pricing, margin management, forecasting
• Hands-on project ownership experience across multiple stakeholders and markets
