The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing and managing Puig Korea’s commercial partnerships across key retail channels including department stores, street retail landlords, and selected distributors. The role drives sustainable and profitable growth by leading commercial negotiations, securing premium retail locations, and identifying new business opportunities across different retail environments. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Key Account Manager ensures strong commercial execution, retail network development, and alignment between Puig’s brand strategy and evolving market opportunities.
• Lead the commercial relationship with assigned partners across department stores, street retail
landlords, and selected distributors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail buyers, merchandising teams, landlords, and
distribution partners.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across multiple retail channels and locations.
• Ensure alignment between Puig brand strategy and retail partners’ commercial objectives.
Retailer Commercial Leadership
• Lead annual negotiations with key department store partners covering trading terms, margins,
rebates, promotional investments, and contractual agreements.
• Develop strong strategic relationships with buyers, merchandise directors, and senior retail decision-
makers.
• Drive joint business planning and long-term commercial partnerships with key retail accounts.
Trade Investment & Financial Control
• Manage commercial investments across assigned retail accounts in line with trading agreements and
company guidelines.
• Ensure disciplined negotiation of trade conditions to protect account-level profitability.
• Partner closely with Finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring.
• Track and evaluate the effectiveness of commercial agreements and promotional activities.
Retail Network Development
• Lead negotiations for store openings, relocations, renovations, and closures across department
stores and retail locations.
• Negotiate lease conditions and commercial agreements with street landlords where relevant.
• Secure premium retail positioning and optimal space allocation within retail environments.
• Support long-term retail network expansion in collaboration with the Head of Retail.
Distributor Coordination
• Manage relationships with selected distributors where applicable.
• Ensure distributor activities align with Puig brand standards and commercial strategy.
• Monitor distributor performance and ensure consistent retail execution.
Market & Channel Intelligence
• Monitor retail market dynamics across department stores, street retail environments, and distributor
networks.
• Track competitor activities include store expansions, commercial terms, and distribution strategies.
• Provide insights into retail trends, channel evolution, and emerging market opportunities.
• Deliver structured account and market performance insights to senior management.

• Experience working in matrix organizations with strong cross-functional collaboration.
• Professional Level in Korean and English.
