Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced and motivated technology leader who possesses a unique balance of technical depth, thought leadership, and strong people management skills. You will partner with customers, AWS Sales, and other AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business challenges and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. In collaboration with sales, you will drive revenue growth across a broad set of enterprise customers in Korea.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders (CEO, CDO, CTO, CIO)
• Leverage global strategic programs and internal VP-level stakeholders to advance customer transformation
• Provide technical excellence across the organization
• Collaborate with product and services teams
• Create and maintain customer feedback mechanisms
• Model and scale Amazon Culture; attract and recruit senior talent
• Identify and grow future leaders; champion a culture of inclusion, diversity, and equity
• Coach and mentor leaders within and outside your organization
• Define and execute goals and metrics; optimize cross-functional mechanisms
• Manage the rhythm of the business through Monthly Metrics, Weekly Business Reviews, and Annual Business/Operational Planning
• Lead the SA team in Korea as single-threaded owner across multiple industry verticals
• Collaborate with all sales teams to create and execute business plans that accelerate AWS adoption and exceed revenue goals
• 10+ years of people management experience as a manager of managers
• Experience leading large architect/engineer teams
• Established relationships with enterprise executives
• Direct industry experience leading teams in infrastructure and software technologies
• Experience developing large-scale application architectures to meet business requirements in complex environments
• Experience with large-scale systems integration involving on-premises technology and public cloud platforms
• Public speaking experience to large audiences
• Strong presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with audiences of all sizes
• Native Korean language skills and business-level English language skills
• High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations

• Experience leading large architect/engineer teams
