At Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services, we're hiring Engagement Managers to lead internal AWS, external partner, and customer teams. Engagement Managers deliver AWS cloud products and services that enable our customers to realize their business outcomes. These professional services engagements focus on AWS solutions to help customers and partners remove constraints and accelerate their journey to AWS.
• Agile software development and DevOps
• Plan, organize, and manage all phases of a project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery, including developing and managing project governance plans, project schedules, team goals, milestones, budgets, and defining success criteria.
• Helping customers architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage AWS services
• Architecting and developing customer applications to be cloud optimized
• Providing deep software development knowledge with respect to cloud architecture, design patterns and programming
• Advising and implementing AWS best practices
• Working as both an infrastructure and application development specialist
• Interface with various customers and internal AWS stakeholders which consists of senior leadership teams and project-level resources such as SMEs.
• Team player who effectively integrates, motivates, and builds relationships with cross-functional team members (local or remote), sponsors, key stakeholders, executives, and other individuals or organizations involved with or affected by the project.
• Travel to customer locations to deliver professional services when needed.
• Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Experience in leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements
• Experience managing all phases of a project lifecycle including project governance, scheduling, milestone tracking, and defining success criteria in customer-facing engagements

• 7+ years of leading multiple Agile teams (like Scrum Masters, Product Owners) concurrently or at scale experience• Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Experience in leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements
• Experience managing all phases of a project lifecycle including project governance, scheduling, milestone tracking, and defining success criteria in customer-facing engagements
