We are seeking a Sales Specialist to join our Studio Sales team. In this role, you will support the successful theatrical release of Disney titles in Korea by working across all aspects of theatrical distribution, including release planning, exhibitor partnerships, box office analysis, and in-theater marketing support.
• Maintain and update distribution systems, including booking and holding; register new theaters, maintain theater information, and ensure all theater database records are accurate and up to date.
• Track box office performance by title and update all relevant sales systems on a daily basis.
• Coordinate DCP delivery for releases and manage KDM issuance, troubleshooting, and follow-up with exhibitors and DCP vendors.
• Support booking and holding negotiations with exhibitors and help ensure in-theatre materials are displayed on time and in prominent locations.
• Arrange internal and external screenings, including media screenings, and support in-theater marketing activities through promotional campaigns and the preparation of creative assets.
• Check and issue invoices for theatrical revenue.
• Coordinate submission of release titles to the Korea Media Rating Board (KMRB) for classification.
• Manage and archive distribution-related contracts, including exhibitor agreements, ensuring documentation is properly maintained in relevant systems.
• Assist Studio Sales leadership with administration, analysis, reporting, and ad-hoc tasks to support sales strategy and film performance tracking.
• 2+ years of experience in theatrical distribution, exhibition, film marketing, or related entertainment industries.
• Practical understanding of theatrical distribution operations, release processes, and exhibitor relationships.
• Fluency in Korean and business-level proficiency in English.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with numbers and box office data.
• Excellent organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
