• Collect, compare, and synthesize Korean trends relevant to the Make-up or Skincare category (consumer, markets, competition), generate insights and suggest actions based on findings.
• Suggest formula scouting recommendations amongst Korean vendors to develop KIC's panier.
• Orchestrate the formula development process, including monitoring the open development department to ensure formula excellence for the luxe division brands: assess the formula performance and rework needed, ensure the follow up on successive submissions from vendors.
• Prepare KIC's panier introduction to the brands by developing new, different, better concepts consistent with the luxury division sense of purpose by integrating consumer insights and trends.
• Exchange constantly with brands in France, Japan and the US for the good conduct of projects, provide them with support during product development/launches, and ensure follow-up of go-to-market.
• Orchestrate the product development process, including monitoring the departments involved to ensure the project's operational excellence: new project brief, development timeline and PVIS estimation, design management, formula and shade development, best-in-class management of timeline milestones.
• Effectively prepare clear messages to present to senior management through regular meetings.
• Brand development: thinks brand strategy, imagines disruptive products.
• Activation excellence: delivers excellence with agility and rigor, integrates sustainable, business consciousness.
• Collaborative leadership: creates collaboration for bigger success, shares & leverages best practices.
• Multicultural champion: fluent in Korean & English, strong interest in working in an international environment (Korean, Japanese, Chinese, French, etc.).
