Rakuten Symphony CPaaS platform provides communication API’s to global and domestic enterprises in Japan and APAC over various channels such as SMS, Email& RCS and more.
We design and develop CPaaS services for enterprises. The CPaaS team is a dynamic and innovative team dedicated into providing high-quality communication services to Enterprises. We are looking for a talented and experienced Product Manager with 7+ years of proven successful product management experience in the IT market to join our growing team.
• Develop and execute the product strategy for the CPaaS platform, including defining the product roadmap, prioritizing features, and managing the product backlog
• Conduct market research and gather feedback from customers and stakeholders to identify new features and improvements to the platform
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations and support, sales, marketing, business operations and customer success to ensure the successful development and launch of new features and updates to the platform
• Oversee product development with R&D leader, make sure R&D understand the product requirements and implement and verify correctly
• Work closely with operations and support teams to help them in serving customers on product questions and requirements and learn from them about customers’ needs
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new features and updates to the platform. Support sales activities such as customer meetings, events etc.
• Monitor and analyze key metrics to measure the success of the platform and identify areas for improvement
• Act as a product evangelist, promoting the platform to customers, partners, and industry events
• Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to support product decisions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated track record of leading product and launching features
• High business skills and understanding: building business models, understanding customer needs and customer business position
• Results-Oriented: Driven to achieve product targets on time
• Collaboration & Relationship Management: Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders inc. customers and vendors
• Legal understanding: highly capable in understanding legal and regulation considerations
• Ability to provide clear reporting and communicate with higher management
• Ability to work in fast‑moving in a high‑autonomy environment
• Proficiency in English, and native speaker in Japanese
