LEGOLAND® Korea Resort Sales & Marketing부서에서 레고랜드 코리아 리조트의 Sales 업무를 총괄해주실 Head of Sales(Merlin Title : Sr. Sales Manager)를 채용합니다. 세일즈 분야 최소 12년 이상 경력자 중 Management Level 리더쉽 경력 최소 5년 이상자에 한하여 지원 가능합니다. 테마파크나 놀이공원, 호텔 등 유관 산업 경력자는 우대하며, FMCG 출신 Sales 경력자도 제한 없이 지원 가능합니다. 업무 관련 Global Stakeholder와의 Communication이 매우 빈번한 포지션으로 영어 활용에 부담이 없는 분에 한하여 지원 가능합니다. 자세한 사항은 반드시 아래의 Job Description을 참고해 주시기 바랍니다.

주요업무

Position Summary:
Plan, develop and manage all trade strategies and sales activity for LEGOLAND Korea Resort, including setting targets, budgets and sales/marketing plans across all trade sales channels, to support the park and hotel launch and ongoing operating plans. Ensure commercial targets are set and achieved, and continuously evaluate sales programs to maximize guest volume and revenue for both Park and Hotel. If necessary, put forward corrective action proposals. Stay abreast of competitor and industry trends to maximize growth and leverage emerging markets. In cooperation with Merlin APAC Trade team attract international tourist to the Resort. Direct and manage a team of sales staff and ensure high motivation and competence level among team.

Key Objective:

Work with Sales and Marketing Director to develop and execute the sales and marketing strategy across all sales channels and implement the agreed channel, T&C and pricing strategy to delivery budgeted visitor numbers, yield and revenue targets for LLKR Park and Hotel
Ensure LLKR has a strong Trade channel set-up that support the launch and ongoing success of LLKR including sales and campaign plans for all major accounts
Take the lead in objective settings and negotiations with major Trade accounts to secure most favorable deals for LLKR
Ongoing tracking of performance across all trade channels and put forward necessary recommendations for corrective action to ensure guest, yield and revenue targets are achieved
Together with Revenue Manager (lead) develop annual guest budget for Trade in relation to seasonality and mix and ensure commitment and sign off by LLKR SLT
Work closely with the Head of Marketing to ensure close alignment on all Sales and Marketing activities for LLKR Park and Hotel as well as brief HOM on marketing material needs for Trade activities
Contribute as a key member of the Sales and Marketing team to execute the sales and marketing plan through the launch of the park and beyond into operations.
Manage direct reports to achieve sales targets through continuous monitoring, communication, training and tactical support. Recruit, manage and develop direct reports to create opportunities to drive revenue and support yield growth through managing cost of sale efficiencies.
TBD: Support Head of LEGOLAND Vacation to develop and manage short break sales via Trade channels

Main Responsibilities:

1. Operations


Identifies, develops, negotiates and manages corporate, tour & travel, Military, Education and hotel relationships and pursues strong collaborative strategic alliances with them.
Sets goals and objectives, develops prospects and contacts, develops and implements an action plan, negotiates agreements, and ensures contracts are approved and executed.
Align to global Trade digitization project to ensure all Partners are 100% Voucher less
Actively participates in industry organizations, trade shows, seminars, product launches, and other activities to represent and promote LEGOLAND while maintaining and developing a strong network of business contacts and prospects.


2. Sales


Formulates sales plans, develops and implements a comprehensive strategic local and regional and international sales plan with Sales and Marketing Director.
Develop a sales strategy which defines strategic alliances with hotels and tour & travel operators locally, regionally and internationally.
Head of Sales to work hand in hand with Director to develop strategies, set objectives, budgets, staffing requirements and execute sales program activities.
Cost tracking, schedules, implements, tracks and manages sales programs to increase attendance to the park and hotel
Effective and efficient reporting to all key stake holders to ensure transparency of trading position including Regional Trade Sales Director and Global Trade Strategy Director, Divisional Directors and Sales & Marketing Directors.
Establishes and nurtures relationships with local, regional and international hotels and tour & travel organizations
Works cooperatively with marketing, Vacation and sales department staff to coordinate and maximize efforts and build synergy. Evaluates effectiveness of partnerships and makes changes to meet targets.


3. Financial


Ensures accomplishment of financial/budgetary goals and performance of strategic alliance contract commitments.
Drive Yield initiate action plan to increase Trade yield in line with the business needs
Together with SMD, HOM and Revenue Manager (lead) develop guest budget for LLKR – meet deadlines and ensure SMT sign-off
Oversees and coordinates details of programs within a wide range of functions and individuals.
Negotiates and drafts promotional agreements with Trade partners, including terms and conditions. Ensures contracts are approved and executed.

4. Development


Research, analyzes and track sales related industry and competitor activities in regards to hotel offerings, Tour & Travel and corporate alliances to identify current industry trends and put forward necessary recommendation to adjust approach to market.
Evaluates front-end and back-end sales activities and performs competitive analysis with other theme parks relative to their pricing strategy
Utilizes findings to convey information, make presentations, and assist in setting or adjusting targets and (corrective) action plans.

5. People


Ensure a highly competent and motivated sales team able to deliver given short- and long-term targets
Aligns staff, resources, programs and activities to accomplish objectives through effective program development and implementation, contacts, coordination, and utilization of internal and external resources.
Identifies and develops a network with counterparts in the attractions and entertainment field.
Develops the organizational structure, roles and responsibilities for the Corporate, Hotel, Military, Education and Tour & Travel team. Provides program oversight, coordination and management of employees in the above group.
Responsible for hiring, training, development, performance management, team building, and other people management activities.
Serves as a contributing member on the Senior Marketing & Sales Management Team.

Background and Experience:

Experience


Experience in a theme park, hotel, resort or attraction a plus
At Least 12+ Years in Sales, Minimum of 5 years as sales management experience, with significant personnel leadership and sales responsibility
8-10 years of experience including marketing, sales and budget responsibilities
Track record of exceeding commercial targets and objectives
Demonstrated ability to manage a large volume of work effectively and efficiently
Proven ability to motivate teams and collaborate effectively with cross-functional peers
Track record of success developing and implementing operational and tactical sales plans
Ability to set and manage against objectives and schedules, and effectively plan and manage resources
Advanced computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite of projects and use of Excel to create and update reports and work with large data sets to draw insight from

Education:


Bachelor’s degree required. Majors in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or other related field preferred
Language: Besides strong verbal and written skills in Korean the position demand high communication skills in verbal and written English (Merlin, LEGO, International sales team)

Work Environment:

· Mainly working in LLKR HQ, located in Chuncheon, Gangwon
· Frequent business trip expected
· Relocation to Chuncheon recommended

Other Requirements:

· Requires a valid driver’s license and passport.
· Requires travel domestically and internationally.
