The Position
Become a leader in the growth strategy of a rising global consumer brand by helping us create and deploy marketing strategy & campaigns for the Korean market to drive new user acquisition in a cost-efficient way while driving brand affinity.
We are looking for someone who leads by example and data, is highly analytical, has solid experience in paid marketing, creative / content strategy, owned media and omni-channel performance optimization. The successful candidate will have experience managing multi-million dollar digital budget, hiring and developing a performance driven team, all while optimizing initiatives for profitability. This team leader should understand what are the determining factors that enable campaigns to scale in a profitable way and maximizing customer affinity for brands. An expert at applying the scientific mindset to find user acquisition opportunities through testing and data analysis.
· Manage the omni-channel messaging and customer engagement strategy & execution using the marketing automation platform.
· Be responsible for the ROI of dozens of campaigns across various channels including paid media, owned media, social media channels and affiliate programs.
· Own, drive, and report on key marketing efficiency metrics such as CAC, LTV, and ROAS
· Understand your target audience and customer behaviors to create strategies and campaigns envisioning the entire user journey from account creation until the purchase
· Analyze creative data and work with designers in your team to test / optimize design for better user engagement and conversion.
· Apply the scientific method on a daily basis. Coming up with hypotheses and testing them to consolidate learnings and constantly increase the baseline of the team’s quality.
· Document findings in a structured way to contribute to the company's global knowledge base
· Collaborate with international peers in other to keep the highest possible baseline of quality in your campaigns.
· Continuously test new user acquisition activities to find new profitable growth opportunities, which may include digital marketing, ambassador marketing, content marketing, PR, and partnerships
· Drive and report on key marketing efficiency metrics such as CAC and ROI
· Work closely with the global teams and come up with a user acquisition strategy based on your target audience, local customer behaviors and Cambly best practices
· Communicate country-specific needs to our product and operations teams
· 2+ years of team management experience
· Experience managing multi-million dollar marketing budgets and a proven record of demonstrating a strong return on investment.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills. You’ll be working with designers, engineers, and marketers on our global multi-lingual team.
· Entrepreneurial mindset. You should be comfortable thinking about business metrics and enjoy having a high degree of autonomy as you figure out how to have the biggest impact possible.
· Strong analytical skills. You should be able to tell a story with data and make compelling arguments for when and how much to scale up our investments in performance marketing.
· Technical skills for working with data. You should be able to analyze data using SQL.
· Passion for learning. You should be excited about learning new skills that will help you achieve your objectives.
· Fluent in English (Advanced writing and speaking English skills)
· Experience with creative experimentation
Understanding of marketing automation tools (Marketo, Insider, Iterable), design tools (Adobe CC) and marketing analytics tools (GA, AA) and experimentation tools (GTM, Optimizer)
Understanding of ad platforms algorithms
Experience with programmatic media (DSP)

· 8+ years of digital marketing experience across various functions (creative, ads, owned media, content, etc.), preferably in consumer products· 2+ years of team management experience
